Now for the boring bit!

As much as this part can be a drag, we do recommend reading through to ensure you get the smoothest possible service and understand our processes.

Appointments

For any service that is planned in advance we may request a deposit to guarantee your time slot. If there is no warning of a last minute cancellation or simply not showing up for a booking without prior warning, you may be charged for up to 50% of the total booking cost to ensure we can continue to operate as normal. Any requested deposit MUST be paid in order for the booking to be added to our schedule. Failure to pay will result in the time slot being available to book by any customer.

Deposits will be refundable in cases where we have to make the cancellation due to us being unable to get to the workshop, issues with equipment preventing us from working and so on, alternatively the booking can be rearranged for an alternate date using the same pre-paid deposit.

If you have already booked with a paid deposit and wish to change the date, please contact us with a minimum of 1 weeks notice to ensure the changes take place without deposits being lost.

In cases where the vehicle condition does not match the description provided by the customer prior to arrival, additional charges may apply. Please ensure any excessive soiling, blood, vomit etc is disclosed before the appointment date to ensure no unexpected additions are added to the invoice.

Valuables

Eye4Detail will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of valuables left inside a vehicle when it is with us, only the vehicle itself. This includes, but is not limited to, Electronic Devices, Jewelry, Receipts (as these may be discarded) and so on.
We understand that things get lost and we try our best to ensure anything we deem as valuable in any way is bagged and returned to the customer upon the collection of their vehicle, but due to the nature of the work with chemical and equipment we cannot always guarantee this.

For this reason, we request customers remove any valuable belongings from the vehicle before dropping it off to ensure no mistakes are made!

Vehicle Storage

Due to the nature of the site on which we operate, we request that arrangements to collect vehicles are adhered to.
With vehicles moving around constantly and new customers arriving for their appointments, we may impose storage charges if collection dates are missed without prior discussion (£10 per day charged to the invoiced customer).
If vehicles are required to be left with us overnight for progress to resume the following day or for ceramic coatings to cure correctly, no charge will be added to the quote you are given, as this will already be considered in the price.
Any loss or damage to vehicles left outside of the workshop of which their collection date has elapsed will not be the responsibility of Eye4Detail.

Payment

When booking your appointment you will be made aware of current payment methods that we accept, which may change as time goes on. Once work has been completed on your vehicle we will require payment in full before releasing the vehicle.
As soon as payment in full is recieved or the remaining balance on a service is settled, you are free to enjoy your fresh, new feeling vehicle in all of it's newfound glory!
Should we accept a request to take payment after the vehicle is collected, any arranged payment date must be adhered by. Failure to do so will result in a late payment fee being added to the account (10% of outstanding balance per week).
Current payment methods include BACS, Cash, Electronic Card Payment via the Invoice or Physical Card Machine on Site

Failure to make payment of any sort with no reasonable explanation may result in legal action

Vehicle Condition

Due to the nature of our work we will conduct a condition check to ensure both we and the customer are aware of any areas of concern. For example: Poor repair work, Excessively thin paint, Scuffs, Scratches, Chips, Laquer Peel, Wheel Damage and so on.

This is vital to some aspects of what we do and can massively change the expected result. We always act within the best interest of your vehicle and will discuss any areas of concern with you before carrying out some services i.e. Paint correction to ensure you get the result you want every time. We are happy to take some risks, but this will always be with the customer's prior consent.

Should any damage be hidden by a soiling (e.g. steering wheel wear), we will not be held accountable for the replacement or repair of the damaged area. Steering wheels are a perfect example of this as makeup, oil and grease from your hands and general use make them appear shiny. Remember shiny leather is not clean leather!
